Small Public Works Construction Projects
The Port of Everett solicits bids for small public works projects estimated under $100,000 from contractors registered on the Port's Small Public Works Roster, so long as there is a roster for the work and there are sufficient contractors registered. The Port reserves the right to advertise for small public works projects in addition to or in lieu of using the roster. With Commission approval, the small public works roster process can also be used for projects greater than $100,000 but less than $200,000. To be eligible to bid on projects where the roster process is used, the contractor must be registered with the Port. Bids Due: Friday, January 12, 2007, 2:00 p.m. Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will be available on-line December 15, 2006, through Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc. at http://www.bxwa.com. Bid proposals will only be accepted from Marine Construction contractors registered on the Port’s Small Works Roster. Requests for bids were mailed to the contractors, which included the user name and password necessary to access the documents on Builders Exchange. |
